KUALA LUMPUR: Another police trainee at the Police Training Centre (Pulapol) has died of the Adenovirus infection.
Trainee Inspector Mohd Riduan Ishak, 26, from Kampung Sungai Buaya Rawang died at 4.20am Thursday.
He had been treated at the intensive care unit of the Kuala Lumpur Hospital since last week.
The first casualty of the viral infection was a 21-year-old trainee Mohd Azizan Aziz who died on March 8.
Another trainee inspector is still being treated in the ICU.
The Adenovirus infection was first detected at the centre on March 4.
Scores of trainees remained in hospital for observation.
Pulapol remained out of bounds to outsiders until further notice from the Health Ministry.
