Ray Lui is suing a Hong Kong magazine over a false report about his marriages.
"The entire report is wrong! I am absolutely going to sue them," the actor told Oriental Daily in a telephone interview.
The Next magazine has in its latest issue published an article, claiming Ray had three ex-wives – one of whom had not been known of before.
The article said Ray had a previous marriage with a woman name Ah Yan and they have two daughters - Lui Sin Ying and Lui Sin Ting.
In fact, Ah Yan is the ex-wife of Ray's brother Lui Liang Kwok, also a TV actor, and the girls are their children.
"The magazine tried to make a story out of nothing and completely distorted the truth.
"They didn't have any evidence and they also did not bother to verify with anyone.
"(This is) very irresponsible and ridiculous and also affects my family life as well as my image."
Ray also said that his wife Yang Xiaojuan is currently discussing with their lawyer the next step to take.
The The Bund actor had two failed marriage with actress Kathy Chow and Cally Kwong - former singer-actress and 1982 Miss Hong Kong first runner-up respectively.
