Nude photos of the World Supermodel China contest winner, Gong Rumin, were leaked a few weeks ago, and have caused a scandal in China.Almost 600 private pre-fame photographs of the Chinese national posing in lingerie and in the nude have been circulating on the Internet.
Gong started her career as a model, making several magazine covers before she joined the contest. She was also a runner-up in a car modelling contest at the 2009 International Auto Show held in China.
According to online reports, the photos are suspected to have been taken overseas a few years ago in Japan or Taiwan before she became famous in mainland China.
